Where are you based?
Studio Quinlan is located at 2/4 Quinlan Crescent, Shearwater.

What days  do you work?
We are open by appointment. I usually work Monday-Friday.
Mondays are available for consultations only.
Weekends and  public holidays are available by negotiation, surcharges apply. 

When will I see my design?
Designs are shown on the day of your appointment. Therefore, I require as much information as possible with your enquiry and/or consultation.

What are your rates?
Half day rate is   $500.
Full day rate is   $900.
Weekend and public holiday surcharge $100

Is a deposit required?
Yes, for a half day booking $100, and for a full day or ongoing work, a $200 deposit is required. This will come off of your final appointment.  Deposits are non-refundable and can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.

​What about rescheduling?
Please give as much notice as possible if you wish to reschedule an appointment. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice will result in a loss of deposit. Cancelling an appointment without rescheduling will also result in a loss of deposit. 

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?
Please come alone to your appointment.  We do not have space for anyone else to sit in on your appointment and it can be distracting to have other people around. Strictly no children allowed in the studio while getting tattooed.

Can I split my appointment with a friend or family member?
Yes, if you if have someone wanting a smaller tattoo, they can take part of your appointment and get it done on the same day. This needs to be discussed prior and be reasonable for the time available. A reset fee of $50 applies. 

Can I pay in advance?
Please pay the requested deposit amount only. The remaining amount is to be paid in full on your appointment day. 

Do you have  EFTPOS?
No, EFTPOS is not available. Please bring cash to your appointment.

Where do I park?
All day, free parking is available a short walk from the studio. There shouldn't be any issues getting a park near by. 

Do I need to be over 18 for a tattoo?
Yes, it's the law. Parental consent is no longer considered.

How do I book in? 
You can direct message me through Facebook or Instagram. Please remember to include information about your tattoo plans, such as: size (approximately in cm), placement (location on the body),  colour or greywash and reference pictures. If the tattoo is a cover up or working near existing tattoos, please also include photos of them. 

Will I need a consultation?
Not always, but I think they're a great way to communicate your ideas and plans in person. For cover ups, yes, you will need a consultation so I can see your tattoo in person and size it up. 

How much does a consultation cost?
Consultations are free, but a deposit is required to make a tattoo appointment.

Please do not make appointments you are unsure you can keep. A deposit is required to make an appointment and all deposits are non-refundable .
